We had a fantastic time on our Viking Rhine River boat cruise. Our weather was great, temps in the low 70's and 60's during the day. Only rained the last day of our trip. Viking could not do enough to make your experience enjoyable.
Our accommodations were great. We loved the fact you slept in the same bed every night but explored a new city every day. We did the included excursion each day but still had time to explore on our own. The towns were so pretty, flowers still blooming everywhere. Our food was good on the ship. We liked the fact that we chose who we sat with each meal. This gave us the opportunity to meet many different people.
We started our Europe trip by visiting Lucerne, Switzerland for 2 days. I was surprised how easily we were able to navigate the train system. Our hotel was only a block away from the train station which was a great location. Lucerne was a walkable town. We also went by train to Mt Titlis in the Alps. The scenery was phenomenal.
Thanks for all your help in putting our River cruise vacation together. We both agree this trip was one of our favorite vacations ever.
We will keep you in mind for our future travel needs.
