Honeymoon clients returned from an incredile vacation in Italy & Portugal a few weeks ago, and sent me the below trip report overnight. Wonderful!
The honeymoon that Derek planned for us went above and beyond what we could have ever imagined. We started off our honeymoon in Italy where we werewelcomed by a friendly private driver and taken to our beautiful central hoteloverlooking the river in Florence. The room was absolutely gorgeous andregardless of how early or late it was I couldn’t stop heading to the balconyjust to take in the amazing scenery. The amenities left in the room were also abeautiful touch. Private wine tour and an Italian village excursion wasunforgettable.
Followed by that we went to Naples where we were welcomed by a private driver that took us to Positano. We were welcomed at our hotel and we’re assigned an“hacienda” type room with white and blue colors, and a terrace overlooking overthe colorful town which made the “Italian/Sea” theme feel even morereal.
In Portugal we ventured off to Sintra for a few days where we had an organized teetime for my husband and I got to relax by the pool. We had a welcome amenity provided of champagne and local sweets.
Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, our last days in downtown Lisbon were so nice. The luxury hotel in Lisbon is Derek confirmed was recently remodeled and we received a congratulations letter from Derek for our honeymoon, followed by more local pastries and a bottle of Port the next day.
All of our drivers were wonderful, the amenities were great, the hotels were beautiful and luxurious, and we had the most memorable and fun time.
Thanks Derek for organizing everything from start to finish, for your amazing recommendations, and for making our honeymoon truly unforgettable.
